Practical Training Programs

For museum staff from ASEAN countries in 1995-6: 

–           National Art Gallery, Malaysia, organising five Australians (from Queensland Art Gallery, Powerhouse, MAGNT) to lead the program

–            Singapore Art Museum, organising staff from the National Gallery of Australia to lead program

–           Deakin University and touring:  organising for staff from Deakin University and Queensland Art Gallery lead 19 museum professionals touring Australia for a two week intensive workshop

Examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students of art school and university visual arts degrees

Board Member:  Member, South Australian College of Advanced Education Board 1985-86 (with special responsibility for the South Australian School of Arts); Member, Victorian College of the Arts Course Advisory Committee for Arts Management 1997-99; Member, University of South Australia Arts and Cultural Management Program Advisory Group 2002 -2010

Independent Curators A Guide for the Employment of Independent Curators, 1989, Art Museums Association of Australia.  Booklet used in various training programs at tertiary institutions internationally. Translated into Chinese for use in Taiwan.
